PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION

Quick and Effective Professional Placenta Encapsulation Service for Postpartum Care. Serving Asheville and All of Western North Carolina

What is Placenta Encapsulation and What are the Potential Benefits?

We invite you to pull up a seat and open your mind to the idea of placenta encapsulation for the purpose of ingestion.

The placenta, the organ your body grows to support your baby, is responsible for the management of your hormones during pregnancy. It produces the steroid hormones, oestrogen and progesterone. Additionally, it releases protein hormones like human chorionic gonadotrophin, human placentallactogen, placental growth hormone, relaxin and kisseptin.

Shortly after you give birth, your body releases your placenta, and, the hormones that it produced. Welcome to the 6 week postpartum period. On average, that is about how long it takes your body to master the art of hormone management post birth.

In many cultures, the placenta is used for healing and restoring the body. The placenta’s that the people of those cultures deliver, are no different than yours. Yours holds as much power as theirs!

By encapsulating and ingesting your placenta, you are essentially reintroducing those hormones to your body and contributing to your post birth recovery.

While there is not much evidence based information available regarding placenta encapsulation for ingestion, the anecdotal evidence is outstanding. Those who have personally benefited from consuming their encapsulated placentas report the following:

Increased Milk Supply
